What Aura offers

Individual counselling in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas.

Sessions take place in person or by telephone, whichever suits you. Telephone sessions are available to people outside Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas.

At Aura we work in an integrative, person centred way. That means you are at the centre of the work, and we move at your pace. Where it helps, we draw on techniques from other types of counselling, so your sessions fit you rather than a single method.

Who you'll be talking to

People, not processes.

Aura was founded on a simple belief: therapy works best when the person across from you feels human. Our counsellors are fully qualified, warmly down-to-earth, and chosen as much for how they listen as for what they've studied.

You'll never be passed between departments or reduced to a case number. The person who answers your first enquiry is the person who may well sit across from you.

Our counsellors are fully insured to practise as counsellors. Every counsellor at Aura is supervised monthly. Supervision is a regular, confidential space where counsellors reflect on their work with a qualified supervisor, so that you receive the best possible support.
